Charlottetown

We visited Prince Edward Island on our Holland America Zaandam cruise. Charlottetown was a port of call for us. Charlottetown is the capital and largest city in PEI. It is a quaint, walkable town. The city has a long history, including First Nations people and European settlers. We enjoyed seeing all of the old Victorian-style houses. Like most places in Canada, the people are very friendly. There is a nice downtown area, with lots of shops to visit. The waterfront area is alive with retail and restaurants and bars. Make sure you get a famous Canadian beer, like Moosehead or
